Mrs. John Ganeau News of the sudden paming of Mrs. Nell Ganeau, wife of John A. Ganeau, was learned with deep regret Saturday night in Dexter. Mrs. Ganean was calling on a neighbor and was stricken with a shock while playing a game, passing away in a very few minutes. She was born in Dexter 68 years ago, the daughter of ‘the late Gilman and Mattie Sturtevant, and she had spent ier entire life in Dexter, engaged for maiy years as a dressmaker. For nearly 39 years she had been organist atSt. Ann’s Catholic church and a comniunicant of the church for a long, time. She was also a member of the Good Will Soceity and of H. F. Safford W. R. C. Although Mrs. Ganeau has always been known as “Nell”, her real name was ‘Mary. Mrs. Ganeau is survived by her husband and dne daughter, Mrs. Thomas Clukey, of Dexter; also 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Ann’s church on ‘High street. The bearers were Dharles Pomeroy of Sangerville, Dan Robichaud, Joseph Gilbert, Henry Kelly, Zebulon White and Edward Mountain. The Relief Corps, ‘Altar Society and Good Will Society all attended the services in a body. There were many beautiful flowers.
