Obituary	A young Dexter woods worker, Myron Cassius Sheburne, 32, was killed Instantly Wednesday when logs which he was unloading from a truck at Cambridge sawmill avalanched and toppled onto bim. Sherburne’s death occurred in a manner similar to that of his father, Joseph K. Sherburne, who was killed in the spring of 1941 when a tree el1 onto him. According to Deputy Sheriff John Gallant ef Somerset county, witnesses said that Myron was on the truck unh itching a chain which held the logs in place when a log on which he was standing skidded and caused a falling of timber which struck him around the neck and wals. Among witnesses were Spencer Crosby d mill workers. Crosby and Sherburne were planning to repair a barn at the Weston Sherburne home where Sherburne resided ‘with his brother. He was born in Dexter, July 22, 1920, son of Joseph Randall and Adella Sherburne. He was a member of the First Baptist Ohureh. He was not married. Survivors are his mother, two brothers, Harry and Weston, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Satururday afternoon, 2 o’clock at the First’ Baptist Ohureh, the Rev. A. Allan Brongh officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
