DEXTER, June 10—Funeral services were conducted at John Shea Funeral Home in Holyoke, Mass., Saturday morning for Frederick W. Greene, Sr., of Holyoke, a former resident of Dexter. The Rev. Dr. Oliver K. Black 01 Second Congregational Church of-1 ficiated. Masonic services were conducted by the Mt. Tom Lodge Friday evening. Interment was at Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke. Greene, died Thursday in Wesson Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Mass. He was born at Oxford, Mass., son of the late Welford and Ellen (Plouffe) Greene, and was educated in Oxford schools. He ws a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers of Dexter; Lodge of Masons, Knights Ternplar of Maine, and Anah Shrine Temple of Bangor. Besides his widow, Mrs. Aurora (Aister) Greene, he leaves two sons, Frederick Greene, Jr., of Holyoke, Mass., and Delbert ‘Greene of Worcester, Mass.; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Seavey of South Hadley Falls, and Mrs. Dorothy Grouse of Dexter; one sister, Etta, of Worcester, Mass., and ten grandchildren.
