Obituary	GEORGE M. GRANT Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Free Baptist Church for George M. Grant, 77, who died Friday, at his North Dexter home after several years of failing health. The Rev. Donald Macomber officiated, assisted by a former astor, the Rev. Harold Wheeler; of Brunswick. He was born in Ripley, Oct. 21, 1877, son of Edwin and Angie Small Grant. He had lived in this vicinity all his life and for 24 years was employed in Guilford by Les Hudson. For the past 25 years he resided in North Dexter and conducted a cattle business. Besides his wife, Myra Wade Grant, he is survived by two aunts, one uncle and one nephew.
