Obituary	MRS. MARY HARTLEY DEXTER — Mrs. Mary Hartley, 80, died Dec. 26, 1980. at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. - She was the widow of Lee Hartley. She was born in Corinna, Feb. 25, 1900, daughter of William and Nellie (Ward) Bemis. She was a graduate of Corinna Union Academy, and attended Farmington Normal School, and taught school for one year in Corinna. She was employed by the Snowflake Canning Co. in Corinna for many years. She is survived by five sons, Raymond Phelps, Palmyra, John Hartley, Dexter, Albert Hartley, Garland, George Hartley. Dover-Foxcroft, Robert Hartley, Dexter; four daughters, Bernice Berkenfield, Lake Worth, Fla., Elizabeth Richards, Dexter. Janice Mann, Dexter, Azeanith Lockwood, Windsor, Vt.; a brother, John Bemis, Garland; four stepchildren, Perry Hartley. New York, Leland Hartley, Bangor. Hida Thibodeau, Bangor, Geraldine Knowles, Bangor; 25 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
