Obituary	HORACE W. HOPKiNS DEXTER — Horace W. Hopkins, 69, died May 10, 1979, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Dexter March 2, 1910, the son of Bradley and Gertrude (Rowe) Hopkins. He attended Dexter schools, Cornell University and attended the Universalist Church. He was post master ond member for 35 years of the Penobscot Lodge, AF and AM 39, post high priest of the Royal Arch Chapter and treasurer at time of death. He was o poultry farmer and hod been employed in local woolen mills. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle of Dexter; one son, Andrew of East Millinocket; one doughter, Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) Dow of Dexter; one brother, Hodley of Dexter; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home, 238 Main St. with the Rev. Robert Sterling of the Universalist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 2 to 4 and 7 ,to 9 p.m. Masonic services will be Friday, 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Fund in his memory.
