Obituary	DEXTER — Mrs. Theodora C. “Dora” Mountain, 68, a 16 year employee at the Town Office, died August 28 at her Dover Rd. residence after a long illness. Mrs. Mountain was hired in September, 1958. as book-keeper and deputy town clerk, by Town Manager Vance Dearborne. She served in that capacity under four other managers, until her retirement in September, 1974. Prior to her employment in the town office, she worked at Fossa’s Store. She was born in Dexter, May 25, 1910, the •daughter of Fred and Harriet (Lane) Dyer. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Dexter. She is survived by one son, Lane Mountain and one daughter, Judith Mountain; three grandsons, Joseph, Jeffrey and Jay Mountain, all of Dexter; three sisters, Mrs. Winifred Robideau and Mrs. Agatha Harvey of Bucksport and Mrs. Helen Getchell of South Hamilton, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were August 31 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Dexter. Arrangements were by Crosby Funeral Home. Interment was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
