SAMUEL J. LANDEEN DEXTER, July 27—Samuel John Landeen, 78, died at his home late Tuesday evening following a long Illness. Be was born in Sweden July 26, 1877, the son of John and Annie (Vendell) Landeen. He came to this country when three years old. Mr. Landeen was employed as a niillright for the Jones Lumber Company at St. Francis. Since he has lived in Dexter he has been: employed at the Amos Abbot Woolen Company. He is survived by his widow, Carrie (Stairs) Landeen; two daughters, Miss lona Lancleen and Mrs. Harry C. Westgate; one grandson, all of Dexter, several nieces and nephews. Remains are at Crosby. funeral home in Dexter where friends may cal from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 o’clock. Funeral services will be Friday t 2 o’clock at the Methodist church with the Rev. Hartwell Daley officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery, Dexter.
