Obituary	EDWARD LEIGH GUDROE Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Edward Leigh Gudroe, 47, who died suddenly last Thursday while at work at the Dumbarton Mill. The Rev. A. Allan Brough of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in Mount Pleasant cemetery. He was born in Ashland, April 4, 1907, son of the late Frank and Nellie (Esty) Gudroe. He had made his home in Dexter for many years. The survivors are his wife, Marjorie Whitman Gudroe; one son, Robert, of Dexter; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Weeks of Clinton, Mass., Mrs. Phyllis Bemis of Monson and Brenda Gudroe of Dexter; three brothers, Richard of Dexter, Cecil and Roy of Hartford, Conn.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Easler of Guilford; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Bearers were: Richard Gudroe of Dexter, Robert Weeks, Clinton, Mass.; Erol Bemis, Monson; and Leon Easler of Guilford.
