Obituary
Harry F. Wilkins, 66, died Saturday morning, May 17th, in a Waterville hospital. He was a native of Monson, a member of the Dexter branch of the Odd ‘Fellows, and of the Sons of Veterans in MGnson. He was a former chief of the •Dexter fire department, holding that positon for 20 years. For the past 35 years he has been employed at the Amos Abbott woolen mills as master ‘mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Etha; two sons, Clair of Dexter, and Wilson of Poughkeepsie, N. Y.; three sisters, Mrs. ‘Nellie Gammon of Scotia, N. Y.; Mrs. Imogene Winsor of Waits’burg, Wash., and Mrs. Marion Hall of Searsport; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 oclock Tuesday afternoon at the home on Spring street, the Rev. Gordon Chilson Reardon officiated. The Odd Fellows also conducted a service. The ‘bearers were: Harold Arey, Linwood Curtis, Ronald Johnson, Fred Keyte, Raymod Stetson. Honorary bearers’: Nathan Bucknath, B. L. Call, Addison’ Gilman, Judge P. A Hasty, ‘George Huff. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
