Philip Jordan Funeral services for Philip R. Jordan of Ramsey, N. J. were held Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy H. H.all, lower Main street the Rev. Gordon C. Reardon ofliciatlog. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers. The bearers were Charles Stone, James Hall, Charles ‘Marsh and Fred Foss.. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleas.ant cemetery. Mr. Jordan was born in Ellsworth 57 years ago last January and after graduating from Ellsworth High school, came to Dexter where he learned the machinists tiude at Fay and Scott’s. While here he was united iii marriage with Miss Edith J. Hall of this town. From Fay and Scott’s he went with the Ameiican Can Company as a road mechanic, and in 1915 he beceme associated with The Franklin Baker Company of Brooklyn, N. Y., where he worked up to the position of production manager. This company later oId out to General Foods, Inc. and Mr. Jordan remaiaed with theni as production manager of their Hoboken, N. J. plant until the time of his sudden death, which took place 1.ast week in Michigan while he was on a ‘busn?ss trip in the interest of the company. Surviving relatives are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Etta Laffin and a brother Earle Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Jordan, Mrs. Etta Laffin pd Mr. and Mrs. Ariio Laffin of Ellsworth were present at the funeral services. —
