Obituary	Dr. Edward S. Abbott Dr. Edward S. Abbott, 80, a practicing physician in Bridgton, Maine for 58 years died Tuesday in the Northem Cumberland hospital of which F he was president. He was botn in Dexter the son of the late Milton and F Jnlia S. Abbott. He was a cousin of Charles B. Abbott of Lowell, Mass. whose funeral was held in Dexter Wednesday of last week. • Dr. Abbott was a graduate of the University of Maine, which later gave hime an honorary degree of Master of Science. He also studied medicine at the. Hahnemann Homeopathic hospital in Chicago. He was well known • in medical circles and was awarded the 50 year service medal by the F Maine Medical Society. He was also prominent in town and business affairs, serving in numerous official ositions. • Dr. Abbott had a record of having Idelivered 833 babies, and had expressed a hope he could make it 1,000.
