MRS. ELSIE CLARK Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Clark, 59, were held at St. Anne’s ‘Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o’clock the Rev. Edward Sheehy officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery and the bearers were Clifford ‘Clukey, Walter Goode, Leo Cukey and John Phinney. Many beautiful flowers sent by friends nd rela tives gave silent testimony of the high esteem in which she was held, Mrs. Clark was born in Sangerville August 7, 1884, the daughter of George and Nellie Weymouth. In 1905 she was united in marriage to William Clark at Greenville and lived for a time in Sangerville before cornI ing to• Dexter over’ thirty years ago. Mr. Clark died last winter. Surviving are four daughters, Miss Virginia Clark, R,,N. of Dexter; Mrs. Cleora Goode ‘of Guilford; Miss Margaret Clark, at the Sisters hospital in Waterville and Miss Mary ‘Clark of Dexter; three sons, Pvt. James ‘Clark, Somewhere in Africa; Willard ‘Clark of Hartford, Conn., and Pfc. Melvin ‘Clark of Fort Knox, Kentucky; find, one sister Mrs. Leo F. Clukey of Brewer. Among thoje from out of town at- tending the funeral were Mrs. Grace Bryant, Mrs. Annie Angove and Rober’t Weymouh of Dove-Fozcroft: Mrs. John Graham of Greenville; Mr. and Mrs. Leo F. Clukey and daughter, Ardis, of Brewer, also the two sons, Melvin and Willard, and Mr. and Mrs. Waiter Goode of Guilford.
