Obituary
AURELE J. CHABOT A High Mass of Requiem was celebrated Tuesday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Aurele Joseph Chabot, 71, who died suddenly Saturday morning at his home on the Corinna road. The Rev. Josaphat Sevigny officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The Rev. Josaphat Sevigny of Dexter; the Rev. Lucien Chabot, Skowhegan and the Rev. David Surette of Greenville officiated. Bearers were: Joseph L'abbe, Waterville; Leo Grenier, Cambridge, Mass., Philip, Mahile and Clifford Goulette and Joseph Clukey, all of Dexter. He was born in Beaumont, P. Q., March 26, 1883, the son of Joseph and V. Dorval Chabot. Since coming to this country 30 years ago, he has farmed in Dexter and vicinity. Besides his wife, Mrs. Marie (Laflamme) Chabot, he is survived by five sons, Louis, Joseph, Lionel, Paul and Philip, all of Dexter; four daughters, Mrs. Clatus Clukey, Mrs. Melvin Clukey, Mrs. Gerald Gould, all of this town, and Mrs. Nelson Clukey of Sangerville; five brothers, Michel, Leon Amedee, Adelord and Ernest Chabot, and one sister, all of the Province of Quebec.
