Obituary	Frank "Jack" Louis Dearborn DEXTER - Frank “Jack” Louis Dearborn, 85, of Dexter, passed away peacefully, Dec. 28, 2013, at his care taker’s home in Dexter. Jack was born in Waltham, MA, June 22, 1928, the son of Louis and Gladys (Lowell) Dearborn. Jack was a hardworking and generous man who started working early in life beginning in the woods where he eventually earned enough to own and operate his own logging truck. He went on to work in construction, as an automobile mechanic, an automotive service manager, boiler maker, an over the road truck driver, and finally as a recycling plant manager in the Portland area. Jack had a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, stock car racing, wood working, and was a 40 year member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #162 in Lyman, ME. A kind and gentle man, Jack was always proud to say that he helped raise five wonderful children. He was predeceased by his mother, father, his brother Lyle, his sister Susie (Dearborn) Cooke, and daughter Diane Bowden of Dexter. Survivors include his son-in-law Rodney Bowden of Dexter; daughters Marilyn Sprague of MO and Deborah Dunlap of Bath, and her husband Jerry; sons Stephen Tarbox of Buxton and his fiancé Deborah Harriman, and Dale Tarbox of Saco; brother Wayne Dearborn of Garland and his wife Donna; sister Betty (Dearborn) Robbins of Palmyra; and nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Diane and Bennie Perkins and their family of Dexter who cared for Jack in their home for the past few years. Visiting hours and a Masonic service will be held from 2-4 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St. in Dexter. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery in Garland. A gathering and refreshments will be held at Diane and Bennie Perkins’ home at 155 Dunn Rd, in Dexter following the visiting hours.
