Obituary	EDITH (MILES) CLUKEY DEXTER — Edith Evely (Miles) Clukey, 55, died in Santa Ana, Calif., Sunday, following, an a long illness. She was born Aug. 25,. 1911, in Orneville, the daughter of Clifton and Gertrude (Hall) Miles Sr. She was the widow of Lester o Clukey, formerly of Dover-Foxcroft. For many years she taught school In Maine, Montana and California. Survivors include her mother Mrs. Gertrude Miles of Hudson; one sister, Irene Russell of Winslow; four brothers, Clifton Miles Jr. of Hudson, Kenneth Miles of Dover-Fôxcroft, Walter Miles of Thompsonville, Conn. and Carleton Miles of Waterbury, Conn.; three sons, David, Carleton and Sgt. Dale Clukey; one daughter, Lieut. Carmeilta Simila; five grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. Graveside services, will be held Saturday afternoon at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
