Obituary	MILFORD BEMIS SR. DEXTER—Milford R. Bemis Sr., 72, died Friday at a local hospital. He was born at Corinna April 12, 1895, the son of William and Nellie (Ward) Bemis. Bemis attended Corinna Schools, worked for several years for the Snowflack Canning Co. of Corinna and until failing health in recent months had run a sawmill and woods operation. Survivors include his wife, IBessle (Heath) Bemis; one step-son, John E. Staples, ad-i dress unknown; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Garland of St. Albans, Mrs. Florence Brazier of Wellington and Mrs. Gladys Harmon of Worcester, Mass.; two sons, Milford Jr. of Newport arid Jacob of Garland; three brothers, Jacob E. Sr. and John D, both of Corinna, George W. of St. Albans; one sister, Mrs. Mary B. Hartley of Corinna;. 22 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Crosby.
