FREDERICK V. MOUNTAIN DEXTER — Frederick V. lountain, 60, a former Dexter store owner and used car sales- nan, died Sunday afternoon at local hospital after a long Ilness. He had been a lifelong resilent of Dexter and was born iere January 21, 1905, the son of Edward and Maude (Bearce) ilountain. He was a communicant of t. Ann’s Catholic Church, a ormer member of Cardinal [Wercier Post, Knights of Columbus, and a former member f the Dexter Lions Club. He had also served as tax assessor and was a former member of the Dexter Board of Finance. He was a member of the Dexter Trotting Park Association. Mr. Mountain at one time had owned and operated a grocery store on lower Main Street and later established the Firestone store on Main Street. Most of his life, he had been a used car salesman. Survivors are his widow, Mrs Ida Mountain of Dexter; one son, Clayton Mountain of Higganum, Conn.; one daughter, Mrs. Gloria Crowley of Sharon, Mass.; one brother, Bernard, Mountain of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Daigle of Azusa, Calif., and Mrs. Nellie Clukey of Dexter; eight grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Wednesday at 9 a. m. by the Rev. Gaston Auger. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home Monday eveaing and all day Tuesday. jnterment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
