CHARLES G. CHANDLFR DEXTER — Charles G. Chandler, 86, died Thursday morning at his home on the Dover Road, following a long illness. He was born at Garland December 10, 1875, son of James and Etta (Hurd) Chandler. He was a lifelong resident of the area and had been a member of South Sangerville Gra:e for about 60 years. He had been its master and deputy several times. He also had been master of Pomona. He was active in all branches of Odd Fellows. For many years he was a milk dealer: and a dealer in grain. He was active in town affairs, serving as a selectman, and for many years, a member of the board of asses sors. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the residence. The Rev. E. King Hempel, of the First Universalist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, here. Friends may call at the residencé. DEXTER — Funeral services for Charles G. Chandler were held at the residence on the Dover Road, Saturday afternoon with the Rev. E. King Hempel of the First Universalist Church officiating. Bearers were four grandsons, who survive in addition to one son Edwin Chandler of Dexter and 12 great grandchildren. Bearers were Charles and Hadley Chandicr of Sangerville and Marshall: and Clayton Chandler of Dexter.:
