Obituary	Alice Brzustowicz DEXTER,ME and BRIGHTON, NY - Born October 27, 1922, in Lowell MA to Robert Cinq-Mars and Cecile Derosier Cinq-Mars.Died August 30, 2012 in Rochester, NY Predeceased by her parents, brother Robert Jay Cinq-Mars, sister Agnes Cinq-Mars, and husband Richard John Brzustowicz, M.D. Survived by twin sister Adelaide Peters of Gardiner, ME, and her children Richard J. Jr (Chi-Hui), Seattle, WA Thaddeus (Tama), Leaven- • worth, KS; Victoria (Jim Ransom) Penfield; Barbara Lucieer (Scott), Sodus Pt; John (Diane), Washington PA; Teresa (David Bolduc), Dexter ME; Krystyna Growney (John) Penfield, Mary (Eloy Melra) Brigbton and dearly loved and cherished grandchildren: Jim Frankel (Sara Finney); Me lissa, Joshua, and Matthew Wilson; Richard Reed, Megan, and Emily Brzustowicz; Evan and a Christopher Bridges; Krystyna and Hannah Farrar; Claire and a Anne Growney; Xoañ and Anna jj Meira; and great-grandson Miles Frankel. A registered nurse, Alice served n WW II as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in England. While serving at the 184th General Hospital she met and married Capt. Richard J. Brzustowicz, also of the U.S. Army Medical Corps. They were wed at St Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church in Mansfield,. England, and were married for 57 years. A devoted wife and parent, Alice was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a volunteer at St Mary’s Hospital SeW n Shop, and later at Strong. Memorial Hospital’s Friends of Strong Shop. Among her many charitable acts, she aided Polish refugees in this country and for many years she collected items and sent them to Poland. She considered Dexter, ME her hometown, and loved Maine deeply. She had fond memories of years at the family summer home in Brooksville,ME and the friends that she made there. The family would like to thank the warm and caring staff at Woodside Nursing Home, Brighton, and most especially Marilyn Cimino, Alice’s aide and friend the last years of her life. Alice wanted to be remembered as the nicest mom eight children could ever ask for. A Funeral Mass was held on September 5, 2012 at Our lady of Lourdes Church, Rochester, NY Interment White Haven Memorial Park, Rochester.
