Obituary	NORMAN 0. WILLIS PORT CHARTLOTTE, FL and DEXTER - Norman 0. Willis, 87,of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Dexter, Maine, died unexpectedly at his home on April 25. Norman was born in Harmony, Maine on September 6, 1922, to Norman and Louise (Zeno) a Willis. He graduated from Harmony High School and attended Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. Norman enlisted in the Army Air Force in 1942. He served in northern France and the European theatre as a radio operator. Norman was a participant in the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. After returning from World War on II, he married Yvette Rioux in 1946 and together they raised seven children. Norman worked as a rural letter carrier from 1963 until his retirement in l984. Norman was very civic minded and volunteered his time and talents to improve his community. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Knights Columbus. Norman as is survived by Yvette, his wife of 63 years, 3 sons: Dean (Beth) of the East Lyme, CT., Mark (Lou Ann)of Williamsburg, VA., Paul (Holly) of Groton, MA., and 3 daughters: sec Elaine (John) of Visalia, CA.,Robin (Hassen) of Wellesley, MA.,and Denise of Carlsbad, CA., as hot well as 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a daughter, Sheryl and a Son, Reid. A memorial mass is planned on May 15 at 10:00 at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church in Milton, Massachusetts. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Harmony.
