Obituary	DAVID MICHAEL MILLS AUGUSTA - David Michael Mills, 59, resident of Congress Street in Lisbon died, Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Augusta. He was born May 22, 1950 in Dexter, a son of Merton Abbott and Margaret June (Judkins) Mills. He attended schools in Dexter and graduated from Dexter High School with the Class of 168. He served in the US Army as a combat medic during the Vietnam War being discharged in 1971. David was employed as a maintenance person at Brunswick Naval Air Station for fifteen years specializing in HVAC repair retiring in 2003. David was a life member of theVFW Post of Lisbon. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR but his greatest joy was spendingtime with his grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as “Bumpa”. He was predeceased by two bothers, John and Leroy. Survivors include his wife of 30 years Candace “Candy” Mills; son Todd; two step-children, Stewart and Teresa; brothers Doug, Gary Brian, Brent, Dale, Clayton and Merton; sisters Mabel and Laura, and two grandchildren, Austin and Autumn. Donations may be made to the New England Organ Bank, 60 First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451 in memory of David M. Mills. A service was held May 18, 2010 in the chapel at Maine Veteran’s Cemetery Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
