LYNWOOD R.“CHUCK” PEASLEY DEXTER - Lynwood R. “Chuck” Peasley, 70, husband of Donna J. (Parker) Peasley, went home to be with the Lord, with his family surrounding him on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Chuck was born July 23, 1943 in Hartland, a son of the late Harry and Myrtle (Simpson) Peasley. Chuck attended St. Albans schools, graduated from Hartland Academy in 1961, and attended Skowhegan Business School. In 1967, he married Donna J. Parker and the two were happily married for forty-six years. During that time, Chuck worked at Snowflake Canning Company in Corinna. Later, he worked at Dexter Shoe Company where he served as the general manager of the Dexter Factory Outlet Stores for thirty-eight years. He took great pride in helping the company to grow to an impressive ninety-eight stores in the 1990 Chuck and Donna attended ti First Baptist Church in Dext He was first and foremost a avid hunter and fisherman whO loved being outside. As such he was particularly gifted at re telling (“creating”) the tall talQ that family and friends looke c forward to hearing. His outdoor activities included snowmobi ing, cross country skiing, wall.4 ing, playing tennis, landscapinj spending time at the lake, boaf ing, and bird hunting with his beloved hunting dogs. Holidays a4 home were always a joyous timg when Chuck enjoyed spendin3 time with his family and playin the piano. In addition to his wife. he is survived by his children Kimberly and husband Salvator DeLorenzo of Pepperell, MA and Tracy and husband Thomas Qui- mby of Bowdoinham; two grand sons, Roman and Michael DeLo renzo; three siblings and their spouses, Charles and Pat Peasley of Three Rivers, MI, Phyllis anc Everett Graham of St. Albans and Dean and Grace Peasley ( Ripley; a sister-in-law, Arlen€ Peasley; many nieces and neph.ews. Chuck was predeceased by his brother, Basil Peasley. The funeral service was held October 30, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Dexter, with Pastor Jay Brennan officiating.
