Obituary
REV. PHYLLIS L. WEBBER Rev Phyllis Webber DEXTER - The Rev. Phyllis L. Webber, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sept. 10, 2010, at a Dexter health care facility after a long illness. She was born May 6, 1929, in Dexter, the daughter of Clarence and Leona (Chase) Giles. She served as pastor of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Dexter, for 46 years. The highlight in her life was entwined in sending the gospel message to all the world as is mandated in the Scriptures. Her trip to visit the Holy Land, Israel, was especially meaningful to her. Her dream, however, was to have a new church built on the corner of Pleasant Street and through faith and perseverance, a beautiful church is there today. Surviving are three daughters and their spouses, Rosa-Lee and Gervais Ronco of Dexter, Diana Perkins and Leroy of Waterville and Cindy Jaramillo of Princeton, N.J.; her siblings and spouses, Wendell Giles and Colleen, Mable Day and Clyde, and Duane Giles and Mae, all of Garland, Harry Giles of Dexter, Olivia Curtis of Exeter, Maxine Faloon and Glendon of Florida, Herbert Giles and Grace of Dexter and Rodney Giles and Grace of Garland; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Ivery Webber Sr. Phyllis was predeceased by a son, Ivery Webber Jr.; and a brother, Robert. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Rick Stoops officiating. Burial will be at West Garland Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations in memory of Phyllis to the Missionary Department, Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, P.O. Box 266, Dexter, ME 04930. Arrangements are in care of Thompson Funeral Home, 30 St. Albans Road, Corinna. Please visit www.ThompsonFuneralHomes.org
