Marilyn J. Bilodeau DEXTER- Marilyn J. Bilodeau, 80, loving wife and mother, died January 9, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor. She was born January 2, 1933, in Guilford, the daughter of Dennis and Cora (Cookson) Martell. She attended schools in Guilford and Solon and graduated from Skowhegan High School, class of 1951. She worked at the telephone offices in Skowhegan, W. Palm Beach, FL, and Dover-Foxcroft. She also worked at the Spring Street Greenhouse in Dexter. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Marilyn was a former member of the Dexter Municipal Golf Course, and the Dexter Women’s Literary Club. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard N. Bilodeau Sr. of Dexter; 3 sons, Kevin of Waterville, Darryl of Jacksonville, FL, and Rick of Dexter; special daughter-in-law, Donna Bilodeau of Dexter; 4 grandchildren, twins, Casey and Harlan Bilodeau of Brooksville, FL, and Corbin and Gabrielle Bilodeau of Dexter; brother-in-law, Wayne White of Anson; 2 brothers, Richard Martell of Tacoma, WA, and Stuart Martell of Palmetto, FL; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Michelle McCormick and her husband, Pat of Ayer, MA; and many close friends whom she held dear to her heart. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Carroll; a sister, Norma Jean White; and a baby sister, Barbara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2013, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter with Fr. Paul Murray officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Ladies Kitchen, P.O. Box 193, Dexter, ME 04930.
