Obituary	DEXTER, July 14 -Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Hutchins Strand, age 71, widow of Samuel H. Strand were held this week at Law's funeral home in Brunswick with Elder Gove of Lewiston conducting the services. Mrs. Strand was born in Brighton, April 17, 1879 and was the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Abbey Hutchins. She was a graduate of Dexter High school class of 1897 and of Castine Normal school. She also attended Shaw Business college. She taught for several years in Dexter and vicinity. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church of Lewiston. She is survived by two sons, Robert of Topsham with whom she had made her home for two years and Samuel, Jr. who lives in St. Helena, California ; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth McIntosh of Topsham and Mrs. Ernest Place of St. Helena, Calif.; and two sisters Mrs. Annie Towle of Turner and Mrs. Roger Williams of Topsham. Burial was at Grace lawn Memorial Park in Auburn.
