Obituary	Funeral Saturday For Mrs. Carrie Clement Mrs. Carrie Clement, 96,widow of the late Rufus Clement, died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Flora Elderkin after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at the Crosby Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Saturday. Burial will be at the Pingree Center Cemetery. She was born in Skowhegan, June 1, 1857, the daughter of Lelewellyn and Lovina Nicholas Greene. One of the oldest residents of this area, Mrs. Clement had been very active for her years, particularly enjoying making patchwork quilts, reading the newspapers and listening to the radio. She had lived in Parkman until about 16 years ago, after which she spent her winters with Mrs. Elderkin and summers with her other daughter, Mrs. Myrtie Packard in Cambridge. She is survived by two sons, Elmer L. of Guilford and Ralph R. of North Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtie Packard of Cambridge and Mrs. Flora Elderkin of North Dexter; 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. note: photo accompanied article
