Obituary	Charles D. Abbott Funeral services for Charles D. Abbott of Lowell, Mass. were held at the Crosby funeral parlor Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. J.Kenneth Halliday officiating. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Private services were held at the home in Lowell Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Abbott was born in Dexter; seventy-nine years ago, the son of Pascal Job and Abigail Gerry Abbott. At one time he operated a pants factory in a building on the site of the present Gazette office. Accompanying the body to Dexter were the widow, Mrs. C.D. Abbott and Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Pittsfield.
