Mrs. Rose Pulsifer Mrs. Rose Pulsifer, 78, widow of Charles Pulsifer, died Friday night, February 6th, at the home of Mrs. Sadie Dearborn, where she has boarded nearly three years. Mrs. Pursifer was born in Corinna and was the daughter of Jacob and Lavina (Staples) Bemis. After her marriage she lived on the farm now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Degerstrom on the Corinna-Dexter road, where her husband died in 1930. She leaves in her father's family, two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Winchester of St. Petersburg, FLa., and Mrs. Laura Jewett of Banger, an two brothers, Elwin Bemis of Dexter and Wendall Bemis of Wellesley, Mass. She is also survied by several nieces and nephews, and a cousin, Mrs. Rhoda Leighton, of Dexter. Mr. and Mrs. Pulsifer were valued Dexter Grange members and as long as their health permitted, they attended the meeting's for many years. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 2 P. M. Tuesday with Rev. Hanford Wright, the pastor officiating. R. J. Buxton had charge of the funeral arrangements. The burial will be in the Corinna Center cemetery, where Mr. Pulsifer is buried.
