Obituary
Adoniram H. Fassett The many friends of Adoniram H. Fassett were shocked to learn of his sudden death which occurred at his home on Spring street Tuesday morning: at 8 o'clock. Mr. Fassett, who has been in ill health for the past year, was much improved and Monday had worked about his home. Tuesday morning he went into the barn chamber to finish his work and was Found shortly after by his sister, Mrs. Eva Stevens, who lived with him. Death was evidently caused by a heart attack. The deceased was born in Freeman 67 years ago. He has been, a resident of this town, however, for the past 45 years. He was a member of Plymouth lodge, I. 0. 0. F., and Martha Washington Rebekah lodge. He was an attendant at the First Baptist church. A man of sterling charactcr, he had many friends who will greatly miss him. For many years he was employed at the Fay & Scott machine shops until failing health compelled him to resign about a year ago. Mr. Fassett is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clara Herrick, of Beverly, Mass., one son, Dennis Fassett of Lynchburg, Va., one sister, Mrs. Eva Stevens, and one brother, Calvin Fassett, both of Dexter. Funeral services will be held at the late home Friday at 2 P. M.
