Obituary	Funeral of F. D. Dearth The funeral services for the late Freedman D. Dearth held Saturday afternoon at the Universalist church, were well attended and the floral offerings most profuse and beautiful. Rev. Stanley Gates Spear of Beverly, Mass., a former pastor of the local church, came to officiate. The bearers were W.L. Fay, Herbert M. Gates, Clarance N. Pierce, Nathan C. Buckman, Harry E. Hale, Peter S. Plouff . Interment was in the cemetery at East Sangerville, near the former home of the deceased. Among those from out of town attending the services were the two brothers and sister of the deceased,Albert E. Dearth of Arlington,Mass.;Elbridge A., from Lowell, Mass., and Miss Blanche Dearth from Boston; Judge James Hudson of Guilford; and Mr. and Mrs. Winfield S. Brown of Mars Hill.
