LOWELL B. PALMER FORT LEE, N.J. — Lowell B. Palmer, 66, died July 17 at his home here. He was born in Dexter Aug. 9, 1904, the son of the late Superintendent of Schools Ernest L. and Annie (Butter-field) Palmer. A graduate of Dexter High School in 1921, he attended Northeastern University in Boston. In July 1923 he went to Boston where he worked in a bank. He was also employed by the Chemical Bank of New York and later became an insurance investigator in an area between Maryland and New York. He then secured a position with the National City Bank of New York, and became head of the bank's foreign department. He retired about three years ago, after suffering a serious heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Mabelle Dunn Palmer of Ft. Lee, N.J.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Rizetto of New Jersey; and one son, Lowell James Palmer of New Jersey; a stepmother, Mrs. Carrie T. Palmer, and half-sister, Mrs. Henry Parsons, both of Dexter; four grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. Services will be held Tuesday at Ft. Lee, N.J., and burial will be at the family lot in New Jersey.
