Obituary	SHERWOOD G. LARSON Sherwood G. Larson, 58, of Dexter, died unexpectedly Dec. 24 at his residence. He was born Oct. 23, 1915 at Monson, slon of George and Bessie (Decanter) Larson. He was a graduate of Farmington State Normal School, taught two years in Dover-Foxcroft school and Worked for several years in the Civilian Conservation Corps before World War 11. He served in the U.S. Army during the war, retiring as a major. He more recently was employed by the Maine Employment Security Commission in Skowhegan, until his retirement in 1973. He was a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post, the American Legion, Dexter. Survivors include his wife, Rita, of Dexter; one son Sherwood Jr., of Milford, N.H.; three stepsons Kenneth, Carroll and Douglas Pooler all of Dexter; one daughter, Mrs. Darlene Andrews,; Dover-Foxcroft; a stepmother, Carolyn Larson of Monson; am uncle, Frank Larson of Dexter; several grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Crosby Funeral Home Dexter. Spring burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
