Mrs. Albert Burrill Funeral services for Mrs.Ethel Burrill, wife of Albert Burrill were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the church of the Messiah Episcopal, Rev. Robert Gay, pastor of St. Mark's in Waterville, officiating. The bearers were three brothers, John, Edward and Budd Hayden and Edward Buxton. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cementery. The deceased was born in Brighton 51 years ago, the daughter of Columbus and Ellen Hayden. Mrs. Burrill had been ill for the past few weeks with jaundice, but had sufficiently recovered to be able to sit up when she suffered a shock last Thursday night and passed away shortly afterwards. She was a member of the Episcopal church of Exeter, where the family resided. She was a woman of sterling character and held in htgh esteem by all who knew her. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Archie Burrill, and one daughter, Mary Burrill, both of this town, and five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Clark, of Greenville; Mrs. Emery, of Washington, D. C.; Mrs, Lula Leavitt of Dexter; Mrs. Emma Buxton, of Exeter and Mrs. Maude Dorr of Guilford, by three brothers, John Hayden, of Dexter, Edward Hayden, of Exeter and Budd Hayden, of Parkman. The family have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends. Eastern Gazette Sept.12, 1929
