Obituary	MRS. CHARLES PARKMAN Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Parkman, 88, widow of Charles Parkman, who died Monday at her home on Zion's Hill after several months' illness, were held on Wednesday afternoon at the home. The Rev. Donald Macomber of the First Baptist Church, officiated. Bearers were: Charles S. Brewster, Scott Harrington, Allerd Packard, all of Dexter, and Fred Hicks of Portland. Burial was in the family lot in Morse's Corner cemetery, Corinna. Mrs. Parkman was born in Kenduskeag, June 4, 1865, the daughter of Oliver and Louisa (Goss) Wiley. She had been a resident of Dexter for 42 years, and was a member of the First Free Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cleveland Davis, and a son, Maurice Parkman, both of Dexter; two grandchildren, First Lt. Edward Parkman of Ft. Campbell, Ky., and Mrs. Fred Hicks of Portland, and four great grandchildren.
