Obituary	WILLIAM J. COUGHLIN A High Mass of Requiem was sung at St. Anne's Catholic Church Tuesday morning for William J Coughlin, 88, who died Saturday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The Rev Leonard A. LeClair of Togus officiated, assisted by the Rev. George Dulac of St. Anne's. Bearers were: Fred Keyte, George and Edward Vigue, Clifford Landry, Philip Godreau and William Nadeau, all of Dexter. The husband of the late Catherine (Sullivan) Coughlin, Mr. Coughlin was born in Ellsworth, April 29, 1865, son of James and Mary (Mahoney) Coughlin. He had been a resident of Dexter since June, 1901, and was employed by the Standard Oil Company of New York until his retirement in 1930. He is survived by one daughter Miss Mary Coughlin, Dexter; five sons, James A. of Kittery, Clarence W. of Beverly Hills, Calif., Francis M. of Biddeford, John L. of Norridgewock, and Frederick M. of Washington, D. C., 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
