Obituary	ARCHIE L WALLACE PITTSFIELD — Archie L. Wallace, 68, died Saturday morning, Jan. 30, 1982, at his residence; after a long il- lness. He was born in Dex- ter, March 8, 1913, the son of William J. and Cora (McKenney) Wallace. He had lived in Pittsfield for the past 31 years, previously of Dexter. He was employed by Pittsfield Coal and Oil for seven years. For 18 years he was employed by the town of Pittsfield as superinten- dent of waterworks and then as public works director. In his retiring years he worked with the Parks and Recrea- tions Department. He is sur- vived by his wife, Geraldine (Pike) Wallace of Pittsfieid; five sons, Linwood of Dex- ter. Dale of East Corinth, Raymond and Leonard, both of Dexter and Kenneth of Pit- tsfield; five daughters, Marilyn Larrabee, Marjorie Garneau, Joanne Pease and Beverly Roberts, all of Dex- ter, Linda Buzzell of Pitt- sfield; one sister, Lena Alice of Hernanda, Fla.; 24 grand- children, four great- grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, Pittsfield, where friends may call 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. Monday.
