Obituary	GERALD J. STEVENS DEXTER - Gerald; J. Stevens. 52, of 200 Free St., Dexter, died Sept. 24 in, Augusta. He was born June 18, 1922, in Dexter, the son of Aionzo and Margie (McKenney) Stevens. He attended Dexter schools and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a self - employed mason. Surviving are his widow, Frances Eldridge Stevens, Newport; a son, Gerald Jr., U. S. Army. New Jersey; four stepsons, Leslie, Rodney, Roger and Kelvin Priest of Newport; three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Alice) Gibbs and Miss Ruth Stevens, Lisbon; Mrs. Eugene (Jane) Robinson J r . , N e w b u r g h; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Clifford (Gertrude) O'FarrelI, 0rono; five brothers, Clifford, Reid and Edward of Exeter; Raymond of Port Rica, Fla., Clarence of Bangor; a sister, Mrs. Montford (Marjorie) Judkins, Bangor; several nieces, nephews and cousins. F'uneral services. will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home, 188 Spring St., Dexter, where .friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in North Newport Cemetery.
