Obituary	ROSCOE M.FLAGG VEAZIE - Roscoe M. Flagg. 85. died Thursday,Nov. 18, at a local hospital after a short illness. He was born in Bradford, July 8.1891, the son of the late Hattie and William Flagg. A prominent Bangor businessman, president and founder of the R.M. Flagg Co. of Bangor, he was a well known sports enthusiast and known nationwide as a pioneer in the refrigeration and air - conditioning industry, following a long career in the automobile business. He was better - known for his kindness and generosity to all charities but particularly those which touched the very young and very old. He is survived by an only son, Guy M., of Veazie; two brothers, Colon, of Dexter, and Richard of Bangor; Four sisters, Mrs. Walter Hazel Kingsbury, of Orrington; Mrs. Grace Woodbury of Bangor; Mrs. Verna Campbell, of Newburg; Mrs. Alice Fowler of Bangor; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Brookings- Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor with the Rev. E. Charles Dartnell of- ficiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 2- 4 and 7- 9 p.m; Friends who wish may contribute in his memory to the Maine Heart Association, 20 Winter St., Augusta, or to a charity of their choice.
