I. RALPH LEIGHTON I. Ralph Leighton,69,formerly of Dexter, died unexpectedly Satur- day afternoon in South Hamilton, Mass. Born in Winchester, Mass., he was the son of Henry V. and La- vinia (Jardine) Leighton. He had worked at Fay- scott Landis Machine Corp in Dex-. ter and had been .connected with the firm since 1942. He retired as Works Manager in ApriI, 1966 and moved to South Hamilton last De- cember. A veteran of World War I, he was a charter member of A. P. Gardiner Post, American Legion, and was a member, of Penobscot Lodge of Masons in Dexter, member of Anah Temple Shrine in Bangor, past master of Wassookeag Chapter, O.E.S. in Dexter and attended the Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Rosa- mond; one daughter, Mrs. John
