EDWARD B.SCHWAMB Edward Bailey Schwamb of 86 Hudson St. Falmouth, Mass., died suddenly on Jan. 21 at the Fal- mouth Hospital. He was born in Arlington, son of the late M.I.T. Professor Peter and Amy Bailey Schwamb. He was a retired Mechanical Engin- eer and buyer far Raytheon Cor- poration Co. in Andover for 14 years and a member of the First Parish Unitarian - Universalist Church of Arlington. During World War II he was with the Fay and Scott Co. for seven years and re- sided at 23 Highland ave. Dexter. Mr. Schwamb was a member of the Masonic Lodge, St. John's Royal Chapter, DeMolay Comman- dery No. 10 of Skowhegan, a life member of the Aleppo Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, Ban- gor, Tri-County Shrine Club, the Penobscot Lodge of Odd Fellows, the Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge of Dexter, the A n c i e nt Mystic Order of Samaritans of U.S. and Canada in Bangor, and the Retirees' Club of Raytheon. He was graduated from Mass. Institute of Technology Class of 1922, with his twin brother, (the late Theodore A. Schwamb of Mil- ton. He has resided in Falmouth for the past five months.
