RALPH L. WAYMOUTH R. L. Waymouth, Former City Treasurer, Dies Ralph L. Waymouth, 72, Ban- gor city treasurer and tax col- lector from 1935 to 1966, died July 2 at a local hospital. He resided at 181 Leighton Street. Born in Dexter, July 17, 1897, he was the son of Harry and Maude Waymouth. A World War I veteran, Mr. Waymouth was a member of the Penobscot Lodge, AF & AM of Dexter; St. John's Chapter, Royal Arch Masons of Dexter; St. John's Commandery of Ban- gor; the Bangor Council, R & SM; Anah Temple, Order of the Mystic Shrine; and the James i W. Williams Post, American Legion. He leaves his wife, Audrey (Flinton) Waymouth of Bangor; a sister, Mrs. Sybil Hatch of Dexter; a brother, Walter Way- mouth of Rochester, N. H.; and a niece and nephew. Funeral services will be held at the Clark-Mitchell Funeral Home. 299 Union St., Bangor, Saturday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening and Sat- urday morning.
