MRS. EVA M. BLAISDELL Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Eva M. Blaisdell, 79, who died Tuesday at the home on Pleasant street, after a long illness. The Rev. Hartwell Daley of the Methodist Church officiated and burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. She was born in Belgrade, Aug. 1874, daughter of James and Mary (Merchant) Mosher. She had been a resident of Dexter about 50 years. Her husband, the late Herbert Blaisdell, was railway station agent for many years. Mrs. Blaisdell worked as a telegraph operator for several years on Main street and also at the Maine Central Railway Station. She spent her winters in St. Petersburg, Fla., where she had a home. She was an honorary member of the Sunshine Club and a member of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge. Survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Leora Bowden of Burnham and Mrs. Dorothy Peabody, Cos Cob, Conn., and a nephew, John E. Mosher of Gardiner.
