GEORGE H. REDMOND DEXTER — George Henry Redmond, 71, was found dead in the yard of his home on Pine Street Wednesday afternoon. Ac- cording to County Medical Ex- aminer Dr. H. Lewis Taylor, he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was born Oct. 10, 1894, at Hampden, son of Dr. Samuel and Bertha (Varney) Redmond. He attended Exeter schools and moved here with his par- ents, about 50 years ago. He worked at the Fay and Scott Machine Shop as a machinist, and later as a painter. He was retired. Surviving are a brother, Floyd A. of Camel; two sisters, Mrs. Delma Small of Dexter, Mrs. Lora Taylor of Guilford; several : nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m.Friday at Crosby Fu- neral Home, the Rev. Gordon Parlin of the Methodist Church officiating.
