Obituary	MRS. EFFIE M. SHIELDS RANDOLPH — Mrs. Effie M. Shields, 95, widow of William Shields, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1980, at a Gardiner nursing home. She was born July 20, 1885, at Pjttston, the daughter of Charles H. Dunton and Bertha Dunton Emery. She was a former resident of Dexter, honorary member and post no- ble grand of Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge of Dexter and on honorary member and post matron of Wassookeag Chapter, OES of Dexter. She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Shields of Augusta and Lyndon Shields of Shelton, Wash.; grandchildren; great - grandchildren and great - great - grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at Amesbury - White Funeral Home, 39 Washington Ave., Gardiner, where friends.; I may Call Friday, 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
