Obituary	MRS. ELIZABETH NEWCOMB CLINTON-Mrs. Elizabeth Moore Newcomb, 93, widow of Charles H. Newcomb, M.D. died July 16. She was born the daughter of Frank E. and Emmeline Alice Moore Aug. 23, 1881, in Dexter. She received her public school education in Dexter and graduated from Farmington Normal School in 1904. She taught school until the time of her marriage to Dr. Newcomb. He died in 1964. Mrs. Newcomb was a mem- ber of the Dexter High School Alumni Association and Farm- ing-ton State Teachers College Association. She attended Brown Methodist Church of Clinton where for several years she was organist and served on various committees. Mrs. Newcomb had retained her family home in District No. 10 and for many years came to Dexter by bus and walked the two or three miles to her home during the summer. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Services were July 21 in Clinton.
