Obituary
JOSEPH A. DEAG DEXTER - Joseph A. Deag, 76, died Sept. 1, 1981, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born in Waterville Aug. 13, 1905, son of Frank and Mary Claire Deag. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was past commander of Poulett-Seavey Post, Ameri- can Legion. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marion Poulin Deag, Dexter; a son, Joseph Alfred Deag Jr., Hartford, Conn.; a brother, Philip, Bangor; a sister, Melvenia Bashier, Maryland; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Sept. 4 at St. Anne's Church. Arrangements were by Cro- sby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment was at Mount Plea- sant Cemetery, Dexter.
