Weston O. Bean Weston O. Bean died last Wednesday morning at 2 o'clock at his home on Maple street, after a long illness. He was born in East Corinth 84 years ago and lived there until his marriage to Miss Sibyl Conforth Richardson, who passed away several years ago at their home here. Fxom East Cor- inth they went to Charleston, where Mr. Bean purchased a farm and where they lived for 50 years, selling the farm 14 years ago, and coming to their present home on Maple street. He was a successful farmer all his life and for many years was an in- terested member of Charleston grange. Mr. Bean is survived by one daugh- ter, Miss Maud Bean, who has al- ways resided with her parents and who cared for them during their old age and final sickness, most faith- fully. His only surviving brother, William H. Bean, has also lived with him for the past two years and assist- ed in care of the place. Two sisters survive him, Mrs. Nellie Humphrey, of Bangor, and Mrs. Maria: Sawyer of East Corinth, besides severel nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Satur- day forenoon at 10 o'clock from the home, Rev. W. H. Johnson of the First Baptist church offioiating. The remains were taken to East Corinth for internment in the Bean-Richard- son family lot.
