Obituary	ROBERT M. SMITH GARLAND - Robert M. Smith, Sr. 70, died March 3, 2005, at his home in Garland. He was born in Dexter, the son of James and Nettie Smith. He worked for Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Rhoda (Hatch) Smith of Garland; 2 sons, Robert Smith Jr. of Abbot, and Roger Smith of Garland; 6 sisters, Evelyn, Shirley, Pauline, Lorraine, Carol and Gloria; 4 brothers, Eugene, Rusty, John and Jimmy; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Smith of Dexter, Mike Gilbert of Bangor and Robbie Smith of Dexter; great grandson Robert Stanley Smith of Corinna.
