Obituary	GENE LEROY POTTER DEXTER - Gene LeRoy Potter, 77, died July 20, 2005, at a Dexter health care facility in Dexter. He was born November 16, 1927, in Overton, Nebraska, the son of Elmer and Mary (Wheeler) Potter. He served in the US Navy during WWII on mine sweepers in the Pacific. He attended Pleasant Street Christian Church in Corinna. He is survived by his wife, Rita (Bower) Potter of Dexter; a son, David LeRoy Potter and his wife, Georgia Potter, 2 daughters, Genie Stanley, Deborah and her husband, Cary Subblett, 3 grandchildren, Jimmie Immel, David LeRoy Jr., and Myron all of Texas. A memorial service was held July 27, 2005 at the Pleasant Street Christian Church in Corinna with Pastor Edward Jarowski officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
